- Best original dry fly (Prize: 4/5 Skull & Crossbones Abel SDF)
- Best foam dry fly (Prize: $250 CFB gift certificate)
- Best "any other" dry fly (Prize: $250 CFB gift certificate)
If you submit an original pattern it will automatically be entered into either "best foam dry fly" or "best 'any other' dry fly", depending on which is appropriate.
THIS IS NOT JUST A TROUT FLY COMPETITION! IF IT FLOATS, IT CAN BE SUBMITTED!
The best foam and best "any other" categories will be judged on difficulty and execution. The best original category will be judged on creativity, innovation, difficulty, and execution.
