I’ve tied a variant of this fly for at least 30 years. It’s been super productive over that time span. I like the 1760 hook for this pattern rather than the 200R. I fish the South Park lakes quite a bit. The 2x long 2x heavy hook holds up better to 3x tippet. The final result looks just as good.
