I have always enjoyed targeting those extra selective/pressured trout that some people deem "uncatchable". 

This fly has done that quite often on both the Yampa and the Green Rivers. 

It also works quite well fished underwater at any depth. 

It is a great fly as as a go to and especially a great fly when they won't eat anything else."
