Royal Wulff

The daddy of 'em all.  Floats great, easy to see and high in Vitamin C.  They love it and you do too.  The original idea for hairwing patterns came about in the 1920’s in several locations simultaneously. In the late 20’s Lee Wulff specifically looked to upgrade a ROYAL COACHMAN FAN WING with hair wings and tail. Right up there with the ADAMS, the ROYAL WULFF is one of the most well-known dry flies of all time. Considered “strawberries and cream” by trout, don’t be afraid to feed them desert any time of day.
